Flickr

What did you like or dislike about Flickr?
I liked the quick uploads & easy of use. I disliked all the options, so many things to do & I'm not sure if I set my security permissions correctly.
How do you think you may use this in your work or personal life?I think I would use it for personal use.I love taking pictures and looking at friends photos.

RSS

Love it! I have wanted to try this for a long time but was too chicken. This class forced me to give it a try. RSS will save me so much time. I plan to link some grant websites and teaching websites so I don't have to spend so much time looking. I would recommend adding unshelved. Everyone needs a little humor in their day.

Twittering

Don't think this would be my thing. I live in a small community. I can call one neighbor and she can tell me what the other 25 are doing. I can see if your work allowed you to network all over the world how it would be interesting. I think a Twitter account for our school lib would be cool though. The middle school and HS kids would enjoy it. You know kids, they have to know what their friends are doing 24/7.

Creating a blog

It was super easy to create this blog, I already had a google account so I just had to sign up. The hardest part was deciding what to name it and how to sign my posts. I would like to use a blog at our library for teachers to share ideas and let me know what resource materials they would like to see in the library. By using a blog they could see what others were thinking and bounce ideas around. For personal use, I think it would be fun to set up a family blog for us all to keep in touch.

7 1/2 Habits

I thought this was interesting although much of it was common sense. It was a good review and a good way to start a new learning experience. I think the most difficult habit for me is to have confidence in my self and my learning. I am always hesitant to try new things, that's why I am taking this challenge.
